In an impossible situation ...
Friends of the Children of Haiti
... works impossible miracles

The poorest country in the Western Hemisphere Haiti sits -- languishes, really -- a mere 90 minute plane ride from Florida. Yet life there could not be any more oppressively different than in America.
Rotting trash fills streets. Fetid sewers double as wash basins. Children play in fields that serve as public latrines. Life expectancy barely reaches 50 years, and, infant mortality claims nearly 1 in 8.
Worst of all, disease runs rampant in Haiti, where every day children die for the lack of a $2 prescription that long ago could have controlled a simple infection. Or because poor sanitation allows bacteria to leech into the water supply. Or because of an endless list of health problems, so easily correctible, that go unchecked.
Amid this chaos stands Friends of the Children of Haiti, a bold, all-volunteer, non-profit organization whose medical teams bring healing and hope to thousands of Haitians each year.
Now poised to expand its mission, Friends of the Children of Haiti needs your help, and there are so many ways that you can help: as a mission volunteer, a child sponsor or through a direct donation.
Please contact Friends of the Children of Haiti. Share your gifts, and help give Haiti hope.
