Volunteers join Friends of the Children of Haiti to help improve others' lives, but also, usually will uplift their own.
For the past 20 years, hundreds of people from all walks of life have volunteered as team members on FOTCOH medical missions in Haiti.
FOTCOH provides all the medical supplies, diagnostic services and logistical support necessary to run a medical clinic. But it takes much more than just medicine, transportation and housing. It takes the skill and determination of those special few medical professionals and laypersons willing to work together to create a highly professional and productive medical mission amid the Haitian people.
Team
volunteers work side-by-side with experienced FOTCOH personnel, treating people who otherwise will
go without any medical attention. New volunteers, some with no medical training at all, often find
themselves amazed at how their gifts can aid the mission, from filling prescriptions to cooking
meals to offering a warm touch of reassurance to a frightened Haitian patient undergoing
treatment. All volunteers return home with a sense of experience and satisfaction unmatched in
other endeavors.
If you are interested in volunteering for a future mission please contact FOTCOH for details on volunteer requirements and current mission schedule.
Help change Haiti, help change your life.
